Worship
Worshiping Jesus together may be the single most important thing we do. It plays an indispensable role in rekindling our spiritual fire, and keeping it burning. Corporate worship brings together God’s word, prayer, and fellowship, and so makes for the greatest means of God’s ongoing grace in the Christian life. “There’s an element of worship and Christianity that cannot be experienced in private worship or by watching worship. There are some graces and blessings that God gives only in the ‘meeting together’ with other believers” (Spiritual Disciplines, 92).
Musicians
Our musicians are on the platform not just to play music but to worship and lead worship. The “worship leader” is not the only one leading worship. Bass players… Keys players… Drummers… Guitarists… They’re leading worship too. Our musicians Skillfully play music that adds to the beauty of the service and sets the hearts of the people right. It leads the believer into the presence of God and sets the heart of the unbeliever to receive Jesus Christ.
Senior Choir
The Senior Choir welcomes all who enjoy singing in a mixed choir and wish to contribute musically to our weekly worship service. We believe that you will find the choir a friendly and dedicated group. Our musical skills vary greatly but all enjoy singing with a traditional mixed chorus. If your music reading skills lag your love for singing, you should not hesitate to join the group. Vocal training techniques and music training are offered.
Youth Choir
The Youth Choir welcomes all who enjoy singing in a mixed choir and wish to contribute musically to our weekly worship service. We believe that you will find the choir a friendly and dedicated group. The youth choir repertoire is not based on gimmicks, but on proven, quality music from all periods, chant to contemporary. The musical nourishment that children receive when young affects their entire development.
Dance
Dance Ministry provides a stage for the spirit of God to move by ministering to the body of Christ through creative expressions of worship and dance, as artistic ministers representing the love of Christ and dedication to holy living. At ART, ministering dance is not a feeling, it's not something you want to do because you danced in the world and you think you'll be good at it, or you do it because you like to dance. It's not something you do because the garments are shiny and pretty or because you'll be in the spotlight.
Drama
Many ministries are separated by age (senior, adult and youth) or gender (male and female) that there are very few opportunities for everyone to minister together. ART Drama Ministry provides a medium for entire families to participate together: children, parents, grandparents and friends. Everyone can rehearse, perform and fellowship together. Also, no special talent is needed, just a willingness to perform (or help with the production. This has been a very effective medium in bringing the Gospel to our community through the very powerful media of mime, music, and drama.
